SITRONICS Microelectronics is one of the business divisions of the high-tech corporate group SITRONICS, the largest manufacturer and exporter of microelectronics in Russia and CIS. The division is headed by JSC Mikron, a plant with half a century’s history, the technological leader of Russian semiconductor industry. Over 3,000 employees work at SITRONICS Microelectronics, of them about 1,700 are employed by JSC Mikron.

Mikron has over 400 clients in Russia and 100 abroad. In 2012 JSC Mikron realized the project in creation of a chip production line using 90 nm process technology on 200 mm wafers.  STMicroelectronics is a technological partner of the project.

The company was certified by international auditors for compliance with the standards of the Quality Management System ISO 9001 and the Environmental Management System ISO 14001. JSC Mikron is developing its own research and development centre which at present has over 400 employees. The company is a member of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA).
